LITTLE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS ILLUSTRATED EDITION

This book is a great read aloud for children and adults. Sutphin uses intricate pencil drawings to portray the characters as animals in a forest realm. The book includes both Christian's and Christiana’s journey to the celestial city. It is a great tool to discuss theological terms such as justification and sanctification as well as the importance of fighting temptation and struggles that Christians find on earth. Recently Erik Peterson wrote a coloring and activity book for this edition of Little Pilgrim’s Progress. The coloring pages are based on Sutphin’s drawings, and the book includes mazes, word searches, crosswords and other activities. Little Pilgrim’s Progress would make a great family gift with the activity book being a wonderful addition for discussions.
